So you’ve decided to try to make some extra cash for your wallet online. What you need to know is what to sell to make money right now to help you to get the ball rolling in establishing a full time internet based income. Let’s not beat around the bush, here are the top ten ideas that you could utilise to start bringing in some funds right now.

No. 1 – Collectible items could be a goldmine for you. If you ever had a stamp or a coin collection when you were younger you might find that you can sell some of your rarer items for far more than anticipated.

No. 2 – Electronic items consistently sell well on internet auction sites such as eBay, so if you can get your hands on cheap electronic items from a wholesaler this could be the answer to the question what to sell to make money right now.

No. 3 – Dig out your old toys. You’d be surprised how much of a market there is for some old collectible toys out there today, particularly if they are still in a great condition or even still boxed.

No. 4 – Head over to your local flea market or car boot sale on the hunt for antiques. You never know what you might be able to pick up on the cheap and sell on for far more to an expert in the field.

No. 5 – Everybody needs clothes. If you spot an excellent deal for some items of clothing, particularly well known and expensive brands, then snap it up and sell the clothes on. Most people know their size in clothes and are quite prepared to buy online if they think they’re getting a bargain.

No. 6 – What you consider to be junk could be just what someone else is looking for. Look through your old books, comics, games and more for items that you don’t need or want anymore. You never know, someone might just have been desperately hunting for that obscure book title.

No. 7 – Keep your eyes peeled for cheap domain names. It’s possible that you could find a domain name for a couple of pounds that a company or individual would be willing to pay far more for.

No. 8 – Information products are a lucrative market on online auction sites. People will pay for knowledge on everything from weight loss to car repair. See if you can source some cheap eBooks and sell them on, or even write your own!

No. 9 – Just bought a new car? Simply don’t use yours anymore? Even cars can be sold online for more than you might expect, particularly if you can generate a bidding war on an auction site like eBay.

No. 10 – Your services can be a valuable commodity. What are you talented at? Can you write? Draw? Create beautiful graphics? Your talents could be just the thing that someone else is looking for and, more importantly, willing to pay for.

As you can see, there are a lot of options when it comes to what to sell for money online. These are just ideas, so spend some time researching and working out what could work for you. In no time at all you could be bringing in more cash than you thought possible.

The Lure Of Coin Collecting

Coin collecting is one of the most popular hobbies that nearly anyone can engage in today. It attracts a wide variety of participants that range in age from 6 to 100 and covers all socioeconomic groups and nationalities. But what is the lure? What is it that attracts so many people to coin collecting?

For me at the tender age or 8 or 9 and receiving an allowance of only 25 cents a week, it was the fact that an old quarter, or any old coin, could be worth 3, 4, 5 or even more times its face value. I thought if I could find enough quarters that had sufficient value, I would certainly be on my way to wealth. I remember scanning the old Red Book coin guides to see if the coins in my collection were worth anything so I could cash them in.

For other more sophisticated collectors than a young boy, it can be a coin’s historical value that is its popularity. Knowing that you are holding a silver dollar in your hands that may have been minted when Abraham Lincoln or Theodore Roosevelt was President or owning a coin from a famous collection is something many collectors seek out and treasure. And owning a coin from a country other than the one you live in, intrigues the collector into imagining who might have owned this coin minted somewhere on the other side of the world, possibly many years ago.

And then of course, there is the beauty of coin collecting. Finding a beautiful, rare specimen in uncirculated or MS condition is one of the biggest draws to owning coins. Seeing a coin with no scratches and no wear and knowing it is 100 years old or older, in many cases, is a lure that drives the antique seeker in nearly all of us.

Then there is the lure of gold coins. Gold has been a popular metal for hundreds or even thousands of years, but when minted into an extraordinarily beautiful coin like the $20 Gold Double Eagle designed by Augusts St Gaudens, it has a magnetism for the collector that is beyond compare. Owning one of these gems can be the centerpiece of a numismatists collection. Many a collector has paid thousands, hundreds of thousands or in some cases, millions of dollars for an exceptionally rare gold coin in near perfect condition.

Some of the more popular United States coins to look for are Lincoln wheat cents, Buffalo nickels, Morgan silver dollars, the most popular silver coin collected, Barber and Mercury dimes, Franklin and Washington quarters, Indian Head $5 gold coins and the previously mentioned $20 St Gaudens gold coins minted between 1907 and 1933. A 1933 St Gaudens $20 gold piece has the distinction, by the way, of being the single most valuable coin in the world.

One of the nice things about coin collecting is that you can get started even on a very small budget. Nice silver Washington quarters minted before 1965 can be had for under $5 and even some specimens of the more popular Morgan silver dollar can be found for as little as $15.

Coin collecting has intrigued many an enthusiast and has been a fun hobby and even a good investment for many generations. And being that coins come in all sizes, denominations, grades and values, nearly anyone can afford to start their own collection right now.
